Weddings
Congratulations on your engagement!
It is our practice that we do not perform wedding ceremonies or celebrations for those who do not attend our services on a regular basis or are not closely related to someone in our congregation. If you consider yourself part of the Grace family or are closely related to a regular attendee, we invite you to fill out this form and return it to the church office for the pastor and deacon board to review.
We believe that marriage is a gift given by and defined by God between one woman and one man in lifelong exclusive commitment. Weddings will not be performed for those seeking marriage between a believer and unbeliever or for couples who do not follow the Bible's definition of marriage. Any sexual activity outside of this union is sin—where there has been failure in this area, God extends grace and forgiveness. Sin will be called sin, yet grace will be extended for the repentant. We desire to show grace and compassion for each person and desire to be a safe place for the struggling.
Any request for use of the building or request for marriage that goes outside of these standards is prohibited. The pastors have the right to choose whom they marry based on these convictions.
